Did you know that most denture repairs to fix cracks or replace missing teeth could be done in about an hour? The New England Denture Center is pleased to offer you choices to fit your busy schedule when you come to see us for a denture repair.
Please understand that not all denture repairs are considered simple repairs, and we reserve the right to adjust our fees based on the amount of time involved but will be certain to quote you an exact price before you leave that will not change.
Dentures generally break for a reason. If you have brought us a denture for repair that we did not make, we will be more than happy to fix your denture. But we will need your assistance in understanding that we are fixing only the broken part of your denture, because there is usually another reason for a denture to break other than wear and tear.
When a one or multiple teeth pop out of a denture, it is often due to the balance of your denture hitting either your other denture or natural teeth when you chew. By replacing your tooth we have NOT fixed the problem with the balance of your denture. It is time to come in for a consultation and consider replacing your dentures.
When a denture breaks in half it also can be repaired in a short period of time. Putting your broken denture back together can be done in about an hour, and we can do this as a simple repair. Please understand that breaking it again can happen at any time. There are no guarantees in this type of repair. This type of break is also often due to the balance of your denture hitting either your other denture or natural teeth when you chew. If your denture broke in half while you were simply eating or just biting down, it is very likely to break again. It is time to come in for a consultation and consider replacing your dentures. It is important that you understand that a repair is only a temporary solution for your denture. Once a denture breaks, it will never fit the same way again, and you should think about replacing it eventually after the repair.
Is your name in your denture?
Maine State Law REQUIRES that ALL new dentures have your name in them. Protect yourself in the event of a mix-up. Names in your dentures are included in the price of your denture.
