Full upper or lower denture- requires replacing all missing teeth on an upper or lower ridge. This may be a first time denture, or simply a denture that no longer fits well and/or the teeth are worn out.

Partial metal upper or lower denture- In this situation, the patient is missing only one or a few teeth while other natural teeth are still present. This specific denture has a metal framework that supports the teeth. Its advantage is that it is thin on the palate and is a good transmitter of heat, so that you can experience better eating.

Acrylic upper/lower- In this case, if a metal framework is not recommended you, a partial acrylic denture is fabricated instead. The base is made from acrylic. Its advantage is that if you lose teeth in the future, they can easily be added onto this denture.
